Scheduling Appointment for Interview

PLEASE NOTE THAT WE CANNOT PROCESS YOUR VISA IF YOU DO NOT BRING ALL REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION.

If you have received your Packet 3(PDF, 329KB) (documents necessary for your visa interview), please check the boxes and sign your name on form DS-2001(PDF, 102KB), then submit the DS-2001 with a copy of the printout of the DS-260 confirmation page to this office. You will receive an appointment notice within two to three weeks.  However, if you have received your Packet 3 from the National Visa Center (NVC), please submit the forms to the National Visa Center in the U.S.

Please note that the U.S. Department of State has revised the Schedule of Fees for immigrant visas.

RESCHEDULING or CANCELLING YOUR INTERVIEW

If you would like to have your appointment changed or rescheduled, please e-mail visaiv-ait@state.gov. There may be a significant wait before the next available appointment, so please attempt to attend the date already assigned. However, if you are aware that your documents will not be complete by the time of your interview, please contact our office via email as soon as possible to reschedule your interview to a later date. DV applicants should be aware that visas are numerically limited and must be issued by September 30 of the program year. For these applicants, there is no guarantee that a visa will still be available on the date of your rescheduled interview. Please carefully consult the Visa Bulletin before you decide to reschedule your interview.

Please note: You must register for your document delivery through www.ustraveldocs.com/tw before your appearance at AIT. Your appointment will be cancelled if you do not complete the registration for your document delivery.
