Hello AIT Facebook friends! I’m Kin Moy, Director of the American Institute in Taiwan. The third anniversary of Taiwan’s entry into the Visa Waiver Program is approaching. The Visa Waiver Program allows people from Taiwan to travel to the United States without having to apply for a tourist visa and it allows people to attend business meetings and meet with clients in the United States without a business visa. Thanks to the convenience of the Visa Waiver Program, the number of Taiwan visitors to the United States has increased by over 40 percent since 2012.

In order to share this achievement with our friends in Taiwan, AIT is holding a “Visa Waiver Program Turns Three” Photo Contest and inviting your participation. I will invite contest winners to have a meal with me and talk about all of the places they’ve visited in the United States.
