AIT Representatives to Visit Chiayi and Penghu Counties to Provide Consular Services for U.S. Citizens

PR-1523E | Date: 06/03/2015

Are you a U.S. citizen who needs to renew or add pages to your U.S. passport, obtain a Consular Report of Birth Abroad for a newborn, or ask questions to a Consular Officer in person? Do you have a U.S. document that needs to be notarized? Representatives of the American Institute in Taiwan (AIT), Kaohsiung Branch Office, are planning consular outreach visits to Chiayi County in mid-July and to Penghu County in September 2015 to provide these services and answer your questions.

Specific service dates, venues, and times will be announced approximately three weeks in advance through announcements on AIT Kaohsiung’s Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/ILoveAITK) and AIT Kaohsiung’s website (http://kaohsiung.ait.org.tw/us-passports.html) , and in local newspapers. If you have upcoming travel plans, please check your passport expiration date and plan well in advance for your trip.

If you will need consular services during our visit, please take time to carefully review our website at http://kaohsiung.ait.org.tw/us-passports.html for more information on required documents and current fees. If you have any questions, please e-mail us at WardenKAO@state.gov or call us on weekdays during business hours at (07) 335-5006.
