U.S. Flavors Spice Up Taipei International Food Show
PR-1424E | Date: 06/23/2014
The Agricultural Trade Office (ATO) of the American Institute in Taiwan (AIT) welcomes Taiwan agricultural and food service buyers to visit the USA Pavilion at the 2014 Taipei International Food Show (TIFS) from June 25-28, at the World Trade Center, Nangang Exhibition Hall (Address: N1002, No.1, Jingmao 2nd Rd., Nangang District, Taipei City).
The USA Pavilion at the 2014 TIFS will host 24 unique companies that will showcase a wide variety of high-quality American food and beverage products. In order to meet Taiwan’s growing demand for healthier food options, the U.S. Pavilion will have a plethora of innovative products, including: exquisite frozen condiments, no-MSG concentrates, microwavable popcorn, tree nuts, dried fruits, and various dairy products. Rose Kitchen, at the USA Pavilion, will provide free samples of U.S. beef, demonstrate cutting techniques, and offer free giveaways.
In addition, Indiana Lieutenant Governor Sue Ellspermann will lead a delegation to exhibit their new products and meet potential Taiwan importers. The Ginseng Board of Wisconsin will also organize energetic, aerobatic flash mob dances to refresh your USA Pavilion visit experience.
The Sherwood Taipei, with the support of AIT, will also launch an exciting U.S.-themed menu promotion following the food show. The FUN & COOL! Summer Hamburger Festival at The Sherwood will feature five classic U.S. burgers along with all-you-can-drink Budweiser. Consumers will also have the chance to win the “Burger Challenge.” The grand prize is a round-trip ticket from Taipei to the United States and is sponsored by Delta Airlines. For reservations, please contact The Sherwood B-one via telephone at (02)2718-1188.
