AIT Changes Postal Deposit Account for Nonimmigrant Visa Processing Fees

The American Institute in Taiwan (AIT) announces a change in the postal account used for accepting deposits for visa processing fees. Beginning June 1, 1998, applicants for U.S. nonimmigrant visas should deposit their visa processing fee to postal account number 19189005. The visa processing fee is currently NT$1,500 per person. There should be a separate postal receipt for each applicant. The AIT visa processing fee account name has not changed. For your convenience, we will continue to accept postal receipts deposited to our old account prior to June 1, 1998.
