AIT Director to Present Importer and Investor of the Year Awards at American Chamber of Commerce in Kaohsiung's Annual Gala

AIT Director Kin Moy will present the Importer of the Year Award to Kaohsiung-based Horizon Yachts, a long-time importer of American-manufactured marine products and technologies. The award was established by the American Institute in Taiwan in 2007 to recognize southern Taiwan companies dedicated to importing American technology to Taiwan. Director Moy will also present the Investor of the Year Award to Kaohsiung based Da Yang Seafood/LS Holdings Group, a marine focused company that has substantive investments on the west coast of the United States. This award was established in 2015 to recognize AIT’s appreciation for foreign direct investment into the United States. The awards will be presented during the American Chamber of Commerce in Kaohsiung’s Annual Gala on Thursday, April 7, 2016.

In addition to presenting the award, Director Moy and Taiwan officials will deliver remarks at the event.

"The AmCham Kaohsiung Annual Gala and the Importer and Investor of the Year awards are well known as landmark traditions in strengthening the international commercial environment in southern Taiwan,” said AIT Kaohsiung Branch Chief Robert DeWitt.
