AIT Commercial Section and Right Management Taiwan Co-organize the “Advancing Careers, Driving Results” Seminar

On July 1, 2010, the Commercial Section of the American Institute in Taiwan (AIT) and Right Management Taiwan will co-host the "Advancing Careers, Driving Results: Career Development for Business Success" seminar at the AIT Commercial Section.  Mr. Alex Lin, Managing Director of Right Management Taiwan, is the seminar's featured speaker.  He will address career development and the critical link between talent and business strategy.

The seminar will draw on themes from the new book by Dr. Stephen R. Covey, "Great Work, Great Career," which launched in Taiwan on May 31.  In a recent interview, Dr. Covey emphasizes career management as not only a personal issue, but also a responsibility of organizations.  Career development connects talent and business strategy by expanding people's capabilities, increasing awareness of the organization's business needs, creating ownership for more satisfying careers, and enhancing engagement.

Drawing on global research from over 28,000 employees from 10 business sectors in 15 countries, the session will include valuable information about the relationship between employee engagement, learning and development, and key business metrics.
