AIT Offices to Close January 1 for Holiday; Visa, Consular Services Also Closed on January 2

All offices of the American Institute in Taiwan will be closed on Thursday, January 1, 2009, in observance of New Year's Day.  This includes the Consular Section, the Commercial Section, the Agricultural Trade Office, the American Cultural Center and the AIT Kaohsiung branch office. 

The Consular Section will remain closed to the public on Friday, January 2.  Normal public hours for all Consular Services will resume the following business day, January 5.  All other AIT offices will re-open Friday, January 2, at the usual time.
