U.S. Delegation Visits Taiwan December 2-7
A four-person bipartisan delegation of professional staff members from the U.S. Congress's House Committee on Foreign Affairs will visit Taiwan December 2 - 7, 2008 for a fact-finding mission.
The purpose of the trip is to help the Foreign Affairs Committee better understand Taiwan's political and security situation and stay informed of new developments. The delegation will conduct a broad range of meetings with political and security leaders in Taiwan. The delegation will not be available for interviews or other media appearances.
