2008 Taichung U.S. Trade and Investment Opportunities Seminar
The Commercial Section of the American Institute in Taiwan (AIT) will join the American State Offices Association (ASOA) and the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) in holding a seminar in Taichung focusing on U.S. Trade and Investment Opportunities on May 29, 2008. All firms in the Taichung area that are interested in exploring investment in the United States are invited to attend the event.
Representatives from Florida, Hawaii, Idaho, Indiana, Maryland, Montana, New Mexico, Pennsylvania, and Washington will join in the seminar. The seminar includes introducing the participating states' investment environments and projects, trade opportunities, and one-on-one meetings with the representatives.
We would like to cordially invite firms in the Taichung area that are interested in exploring investment in the U.S. to attend the event. People who should attend include those that intend to (1) invest in the U.S. to set up manufacturing plants, distribution centers, branch offices, or purchase real estate (2) seek technology transfer, R&D cooperation, and joint-ventures (3) explore sales and service networks or establish a base for business operations, and (4) seek U.S. suppliers of products for import from the U.S.
