American Indian Film Series in Taichung

In celebration of American Indian Heritage Month, The American Institute in Taiwan and the Cultural Affairs Bureau, Taichung City are pleased to present an "American Indian Film Series" featuring four American movies on Native American themes.  The showings are open to the general public and are free of charge.

The schedule of the American Indian Film Series is as follows:  

  • Saturday, November 3 at 2:00 p.m.   "Pocahontas"
  • Sunday, November 4 at 2:00 p.m.    "The Last of the Mohicans"
  • Saturday, November 10 at 2:00 p.m.   "Windtalkers"
  • Sunday, November 11 at 2:00 p.m.   "Waking Up Horton"

Place: Audiovisual Room, Cultural Affairs Bureau   B1, No. 600, Yingcai Road, West District, Taichung

This film series is being organized in conjunction with the "Sacred Legacy" American Indian photo exhibit on display at the National Museum of Natural Sciences from October 27 through November 25, 2007.
