AIT Commercial Section Co-Sponsors Polymer Materials Workshop
The American Institute in Taiwan (AIT) Commercial Section will assist UL Taiwan Inc. to organize a workshop focusing on polymer materials in order to help local firms enhance their knowledge of safety regulations and capabilities related to the application of polymer materials in electrical, electronic, and machinery products. UL Taiwan is affiliated with the U.S.-based Underwriters Laboratories Inc., an independent, product safety certification organization that has been testing products and writing Standards for Safety for over a century.
Taiwan companies are cordially invited to designate relevant staff - especially those involved in safety regulations, product design, and manufacturing processes - to attend the workshop. The workshop provides instruction and case study exercises to help participants quickly understand how to select the appropriate polymer materials, as well as the safety norms and testing requirements for each type of polymer material, in order effectively to shorten product design and manufacturing time.
