AIT Urges Intending Students to Apply Early for Their Visas

AIT has recently implemented new innovations to streamline visa processing for students who will study in the U.S.  Student applicants receive priority appointments at AIT.  An electronic visa application form promotes efficient data entry and increases the number of applicants that AIT's visa office can interview daily.  New measures to make the U.S. borders more secure and assure the safety of the traveling public have not changed the basic criteria for student visa eligibility.

AIT urges intending students to apply for their visas as far in advance of their school's start date as the law permits (maximum 120 days).  Appointments can be made by visiting AIT's data entry and appointment service website, http://www.visaagent.com.tw/.  Additional information on U.S. visas can be found on AIT's website at http://www.ait.org.tw/.

AIT organizes a series of events to inform students planning to study in the United States.  Students are encouraged to sign-up for a web chat on May 2, 2007 at 2:30 p.m. with an AIT Consular Officer.
