AIT Announces Nonimmigrant Visa Processing Fee Increase
The American Institute in Taiwan (AIT) announces that due to the recent shift in the exchange rate between the U.S. Dollar and the New Taiwan Dollar, and in keeping with the standard worldwide U.S. nonimmigrant visa processing fee, the AIT will increase its visa processing fee effective June 30, 2006 from NT$3,200 to NT$3,300.
All applicants for nonimmigrant visas who pay the visa processing fee on or after June 30 must show a receipt for NT$3,300. Applicants who paid the visa processing fee before June 30 may still use the receipt for NT$3,200.
