American Institute in Taiwan

AIT announces that due to the recent shift in the exchange rate between the U.S. Dollar and the New Taiwan Dollar, and in keeping with the standard worldwide U.S. nonimmigrant visa processing fee, AIT will increase its visa processing fee effective October 1, 2005 from NT$3300 to NT$3400.

All applicants for nonimmigrant visas who pay the visa processing fee on or after October 1 must show a receipt for NT$3400.  Applicants who paid the visa processing fee before October 1 may still use the receipt for NT$3300.
