AIT Public Affairs Section Supports "Diverse Domain - Contemporary North American Ceramic Art" Exhibit July 15 - Oct. 2, 2005

The AIT Public Affairs Section is honored to support the exhibit "Diverse Domain - Contemporary North American Art" organized by the Taipei County Yingge Ceramics Museum.

The exhibit, which showcases 125 ceramic works by 67 North American ceramic artists, is one of the largest international exhibition programs ever organized by the National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts (NCECA).  It will be on display July 15 through Oct. 2 at the Taipei County Yingge Ceramics Museum.

The AIT Public Affairs Section is supporting this exhibit by providing materials, including videos on American cinema and jazz.  In addition, there will be two talks on touring the United States led by AIT officers.  It is hoped that through this exhibit and its accompanying programs, AIT and the Taipei County Yingge Ceramics Museum can further the Taiwan public's understanding of American culture and contribute to a better appreciation of contemporary ceramic arts.

For further information about the exhibit and related programs, please contact the Taipei County Yingge Ceramics Museum at 02-8677-2727 or visit its website at http://www.ceramics.tpc.gov.tw.
