Press Release

USA Pavilion Food Taipei 2005 Taipei World Trade Center June 16-19, 2005

PR0527E | Date: 2005-06-13

The American Institute in Taiwan's Agricultural Trade Office (ATO) is proud to announce that the USA Pavilion at the 2005 Taipei International Food Show will be the largest and most exciting pavilion ever presented.

This year, the USA Pavilion will contain 84 booth-exhibitors representing 60 companies.  These booths will display a wide range of quality food products, including wine and beef, dairy, potato, processed food, health, and organic products.

AIT warmly invites Taiwan food industry executives, importers, retailers, and media representatives to visit the USA Pavilion to review the products and attend professional seminars. This event is your chance to see what will be seen on grocer's shelves, on restaurant menus, and in manufactured food products in the near future. Please stop by and see us!

Taiwan is the 6th largest market in the world for U.S. agricultural products.  In 2004, Taiwan imported more than $8 billion worth of agricultural products - more than 30 percent of which came from the United States.  It is a relationship in which both sides benefit significantly, and a partnership that we look forward to continuing and growing over the long term.
