American Cultural Center Will Present Part V of the Video Series on U.S. History September 24, 2003

The American Cultural Center of the American Institute in Taiwan is pleased to announce the September 24th screening of Part V of its film program "Freedom: A History of US." Episode 13, "Democracy and Struggles," and Episode 14, "Let Freedom Ring" will be shown. This film series is adapted from Joy Hakim's award-winning books.
Since this 16-episode video series was launched in last July, it has attracted an increasing number of viewers. This time viewers can learn of the bravery of America's civil rights leaders, such as Jackie Robinson, and witness the emotion and strength of their voices including that of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s, in his famous speech "I Have a Dream."
