American Institute in Taiwan

This notice is being issued by the American Institute in Taiwan (AIT) to alert the public to the disappearance of an American citizen in Taiwan. Mr. Fryderyk M. Frontier arrived in Taiwan on May 20, 2003 and reported to Hess Language School in Chung -ho the next day. This was the last time he was seen. On May 22, he called his roommate in the U.S. and has not been heard from since. He told his roommate that he was going to visit a national park and return to Taipei on May 25. Records show that on May 23 he purchased a train ticket to Ping-dong. He had expressed an interest in going hiking and in visiting Kaohsiung.
