New Web Pages on Terrorism
To provide comprehensive information on the September 11 terrorist attacks, a new Web page titled “The Network of Terrorism” has been created. This Web page provides a summary of what is known about the attacks and their connection to Osama bin Laden and his al Qaeda terrorist network. It also links bin Laden and al Qaeda to previous attacks on American lives, summarizes the oppressive conditions of life under the Taliban regime, provides a sampling of opinion from the Islamic world, and describes American humanitarian aid to Afghanistan.
