No Interruption in Student Visas
The American Institute in Taiwan continues to issue nonimmigrant visas, including student visas, without interruption. Rumors have been circulating in Taiwan that issuance of student visas was suspended after the September 11 terrorists attacks in the United States. These rumors are not correct. U.S. visa operations in AIT Taipei and Kaohsiung offices continue as normal.
