AIT Launches Cultural Diversity Program
The American Institute in Taiwan will present its first major program on American cultural diversity on Friday, October 19, 2001. Dr. Robert Bruce Mullin will speak on "Religion and Its Role in Multicultural American Society" at the American Cultural Center Friday, from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Chinese simultaneous interpretation will be provided.
Dr. Mullin is Professor of History, World Religion and Modern Anglican Studies at New York University. The public is welcome to participate in this program, which launches a year of AIT programs on American cultural diversity. The American Cultural Center is located at 54 Nan Hai Road, Taipei. The nearest MRT station is Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall.
