AIT Contributes to Typhoon Nari Relief Effort
The American Institute in Taiwan Acting Director Pamela Slutz presented a check for 25,000 U.S. dollars to the President of the Red Cross Society of the ROC, C.V. Chen, September 21, at 9:30 AM at the organization's Taipei office. The contribution symbolizes the deep sympathy of the American people for the victims of Typhoon Nari and their families and is to assist in the Taiwan reconstruction efforts.
