U.S. Steel Delegation Visits Taiwan
A three-member U.S. delegation is visiting Taipei from November 16th to 18th to discuss steel trade issues, including the status of the U.S. steel industry and the recent request for action to address steel import surges into the United States. Members of the delegation include Florizelle Liser, Assistant U.S. Trade Representative for Industry and Telecommunications, USTR; Andrew Stephens, Director of Steel Trade Policy, Office of Industry and Telecommunications; USTR; and Kelly Parkhill, Director of Antidumping Policy, Import Administration, Department of Commerce. The delegation has visited Seoul and Tokyo for the same purpose earlier this week.
