Hello everyone.  Greetings.  I am Kin Moy, and I am honored to be the next director of the American Institute in Taiwan.

For the past generation, the people of Taiwan and the people of the United States have worked together to build an enduring partnership.

The next few years will be an important time in the history of our friendship.  I look forward to joining the AIT team in strengthening our ties, in addition to experiencing the kindness of our Taiwan friends.  There is so much to celebrate about Taiwan’s development.

My wife Kathy, our kids, and I have begun to prepare for our life there.  We have discovered many things we admire – the vibrant democracy, the robust trade,  and the rich culture.  We appreciate your warm welcome.
