AIT Director William A. Stanton unveiled the art works selected through the U.S. Department of State's Art in Embassies program at a reception at his residence in Taipei on November 18, 2010. Speaking in Chinese at the reception, Director Stanton said he selected works that embody the artistic and cultural confluence of the innumerable person-to-person ties that link Taiwan and the United States. The exhibition includes works from Taiwan American artists Daniel Lee, Leigh Wen, Fay Ku and George Ho. Approximately 120 guests, including artists Leigh Wen and George Ho, attended the reception.

Established by the United States Department of State in 1964, the Art In Embassies Program is a global museum that exhibits original works of art by U.S. citizens in the public rooms of some 200 American diplomatic residences worldwide.
